Australian Anzac Game Two Up

Specifications:

  • One Handle
  • Two Coins

Description:

Two Up is a traditional Australian gambling game with a history intertwined with Anzac Day. The game involves a designated "spinner" who throws two coins into the air, and players bet on the outcome. The betting options include both coins landing heads up (Obverse), both landing tails up (Reverse), or one coin showing heads and the other tails (Odds). This game is often played in pubs and clubs throughout Australia on Anzac Day as a way to commemorate and share an experience with diggers.

How to Play:

  1. A designated spinner throws two coins into the air using the provided handle.
  2. Players place their bets on the outcome—Obverse, Reverse, or Odds.
  3. The result is determined by how the coins land, and the winning bets receive the wagered money from the center, controlled by the "Boxer."
